Direct link to complete patent documentsThe patented Sno-Master is a highly versatile snow removal system. Consisting of a cutter bar followed by a plastic sheet, the assembly is pushed into the snow mass by a variety of driver handles. Being fully reversible, the cutter can be pulled toward the operator with equal ease. The cutter bar is provided with clearance from roofing screws and shingles by two adjustable side runners. These come set to provide 1 inch of clearance for the cutting edge. The blade-like center support provides another cutting edge to break up the snow mass, and allows for the placement of the depth control ski. The innovative depth control ski allows the operator to easily work down from the top surface of a deep snow layer. This can be especially important for operator safety when removing cornices and overhangs.
The Sno-Master is manufactured from the highest quality material available. The high strength aluminum blade is welded to the center support and all forward facing edges are machined to a cutting edge. The 30 mil polyethylene slide is riveted to the cutter bar and protected from bending failure. The telescoping handle is equipped with a D grip and additional extensions can provide up to a 25 foot long assembly. The EO Special is designed especially for equipment owners of all kinds. This kit includes a unique angled extension with a 30 degree bend and a three foot long telescoping handle. This system is able to remove snow from elevated flat surfaces such as busses and large RVs.
The Sno-Master Standard Kit comes with a 5 ft long telescoping handle, providing a working length of 10 feet. The snap-in D handle provides for much easier pushing when at maximum extension of the operators arm. The depth control ski provides for easier starting and controlled removal of snow in 4 inch lifts. Adjustments are made by use of internal spring pins or pins with snap over retainers. The telescoping and main cutter bar attachment uses these external snap over pins for two reasons. First, the pin passing through both sides provides for maximum strength. Secondly, the pins can be operated with heavy wet mitts. The pins are secured to the cutter and the driver shaft with flexible tag lines to prevent loss.
